An interesting article came to us recently.
We wonder how many are aware that the possession, sale and use of chainsaws in the Philippines is actually another regulated activity.

As most expats know, in their home country, they don’t have such restrictions, where almost anyone can own and use a chainsaw.

But not in the Philippines. (Surprise Surprise)
There is legislation that controls this and it is RA 9175 or otherwise known as the “Chainsaw Act of 2002”.
