Allegations and Fallout

Accusations of fraud and misrepresentation: William Abrams allegedly claimed credentials such as being a doctor and receiving prestigious awards, including the “Thomas Jefferson Award for Humanitarian Service.” Investigators and critics have found no verifiable evidence to support these claims.

 E-begging and deceptive practices:

Critics, including other expat YouTubers like A Brit Farming in the Philippines and Mr Joe, accused Abrams of soliciting donations under false pretenses. Many of his videos were later deleted or became unavailable.

Channel termination and relocation:

Following growing scrutiny, Abrams reportedly deleted his original YouTube channel and relocated to Chiang Mai, Thailand. He now operates under a new channel name, Williams Thailand Retirement.

Current Activity

Abrams appears to have rebranded and continues producing content, now focusing on retirement and lifestyle in Thailand. His newer channel, The Abrams Report, presents itself as “fair & balanced news from independent journalists,” though it includes politically charged and controversial content.
